Possibly. Camera protocols, firmware, image quality, licensing, and recorder compatibility all matter. We assess reuse before recommending replacement; compatibility is confirmed for the selected platform.
Is cloud video better than an on-site recorder?
The right fit depends on connectivity, retention, remote administration, subscription costs, and your IT policies. A hybrid approach may also be appropriate. Start with operational requirements before selecting an architecture.
How much recording storage will we need?
Storage depends on camera count, resolution, frame rate, compression, activity, and retention. We size it around the chosen recording settings and retention goals rather than a single rule of thumb.
